Welcome to Knot Your Average Ceremony. My name is Jake, and I am "knot" your average officiant. I am an ordained minister based in the state of Michigan.

A little about your officiant
I tailor each ceremony to be reflective of the individuals and the couple as a whole. I think just as I get to know these special couples, they would like to know a bit about me.
I am originally from the Jersey shore area (yes, central Jersey does exist), and lived in Tampa, FL for the past 10 years. I moved to western Michigan and married my husband in 2024. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and any time in nature I can get. I have too many tattoos to count, but am always ready for my next. I have two dogs; Iris, a shepherd-pit mix, and Scooby-Doo, a mastiff-rottweiler mix.
